The Senior Programme Manager: Healthy Communities and Individuals is a dedicated post within NHS Gloucestershire to develop and commission social prescribing and non-clinical creative health interventions working at place level.

The Manager co-ordinates activity across a range of creative organisations to support development of services and connectivity between Creative and VCSE sector providers and other health and social care partners.

The dual role of the post means that at commissioning level the post holder is able to orchestrate developments across the Social Prescribing and Creative Health agendas. There is a clear line of accountability in staffing structures within One Gloucestershire ICS.  The Senior Programme Manager is accountable to the Transformation Programme Director who is responsible for the Enabling Active Communities Programme.

The dual role of the post means that at commissioning level the post holder is able to orchestrate developments across the Social Prescribing and Creative Health agendas.
