Cornwall and The Isles Of Scilly

Having supported members of the Creative Health workforce both in and outside Cornwall through one to one mentoring, action learning sets, peer workshops and delivery of self care workshops with practitioners, Arts Well has developed more formal training opportunities for Cornish based Creative Health practitioners in response to speaking with them to identify their needs. 

The Arts Well: Grow programme offers short online sessions on creativity and dementia good practice, outcomes and evaluation, facilitating mental wellbeing through creativity, understanding social prescribing along with sessions about running a creative business and finding funding.

In addition Arts Well and the Creative, Health and Wellbeing Partnership for Cornwall and Isles of Scilly is looking to broaden the opportunities for training and collaboration for artists by working with a wide range of organisations.  The Creative Sector doesn’t always see itself as part of a wider VCSE sector, so hasn’t always taken advantage of the training and development opportunities more widely available in that sector.
