Creative Health network of Creative Champions, National Centre for Creative Health (NCCH)

The National Centre for Creative Health (NCCH) has set up a network of Creative Health Champions in response to Recommendation 3 in the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Arts Health and Wellbeing's Creative Health report : “At board or strategy level in NHS England, Public Health England, and each clinical commissioning group, NHS trust, local authority and health and wellbeing board, an individual is designated to take responsibility for the pursuit of institutional policy for arts, health and wellbeing.”

There are currently approximately 60 champions in senior health and care leadership posts across England.  This network aims to grow so that within each ICS there are champions in all the key organisations who can connect with each other within their geography. The NCCH hosts meetings for champions to share their work and has case studies on the NCCH website.
