West Berkshire Council is developing a new co-production framework to build on and systematise the high levels of engagement the council has had with communities during the pandemic, which has resulted in a genuine two-way dialogue with communities.

The Council aims to work increasingly ‘alongside’ residents and communities; working together to create more engaged and enabled local communities. The co-production framework will support social and community capital through the development of initiatives that support recycling, volunteering, community asset transfers and other initiatives, including Arts and Health, and Creative Social Prescribing.
