Devon Recovery Learning Community (DRLC) responded to the opportunity presented during the first Covid-19 lockdown to develop a lively and three dimensional online platform.  As well as offering over 40 courses through video-conferencing, DRLC took on over 100 new students who might not have otherwise normally accessed courses face-to-face.   Some find travel using public transport a barrier to attending courses in person and online access offers a helpful and accessible alternative. Some have expressed that they find attending courses online less stressful and that they feel more comfortable in their own surroundings.

A guide on how to book courses has been published on the website, along with links to videos on how to use the conferencing platform Zoom to support access.

The Culture Health and Wellbeing Alliance has published guidance for working online and online safeguarding.
