Example of: Growing the Creative Health workforce

Gloucestershire Creative Health Consortium
Gloucestershire

Two members of the Gloucestershire Creative Health Consortium, Artlift and Art Shape, have started building a joint pool of Creative Health specialist Artist Facilitators trained and supported  to meet an expected quality standard, that could be brought in to facilitate projects delivered by either organisation.  The partners are also fundraising to adapt an existing accredited Inclusive Leadership course with on-the-job coaching to diversify and widen the local Creative Health workforce.

Another member organisation, Mindsong has begun to mentor and support other smaller organisations and practitioners to develop skills, sustainability and confidence in delivering Creative Health solutions.

This will be valuable within a county that does not have enough providers for the demand in services, or in reaching new participant groups from a demographic that the current providers are not as experienced in working with.
