Example of: Listening to and learning from communities
Oswestry Health Equalities Programme (HEP) Crisis and Creativity
Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin
The Drug and Alcohol Strategic Commissioner brought a group of key stakeholders together who agreed to collaborate with a cohort at risk of crises to offer a range of support to prevent escalation of distress. A wealth of shared knowledge on the issues faced by the community has helped to develop the model.
Although the project is co-produced with stakeholders, it is recognised that the voice of a person with lived experience is missing. This deeper level of co-production will be incorporated into the next phase of the project.
