Supporting Primary Care Networks with High Intensity Users
Suffolk and North East Essex
With pressures on secondary care mental health services the referral routes for the CALM Programme were refocused by the involvement of the Personalised Care Primary Care Programme Manager from Ipswich and East Suffolk Alliance. This was facilitated by the ongoing partnership and development working with Suffolk Artlink and Suffolk County Council.
Having identified a need to support high intensity patients in the PCNs and a recognition of the value of non-clinical creative health interventions a broader steering group was established to support the development and oversight of further programmes of work.
The involvement of clinical colleagues was prioritised to ensure support was made available to the artists delivering interventions in additional to the involvement of the experts by experience supported by Suffolk Artlink.
