Children and Young People’s Social Prescribing Pilot
Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin

The South West Shropshire Children and Young People Social Prescribing Partner Collaborative was formed to give young people the best opportunity to benefit from the activities commissioned by the pilot.   Bringing together partners who all have specific areas of interest and something different to enhance young people’s experiences was central to the idea,  as well as the opportunity to continue to learn from each other.

Working together, providing activities, collaborating with each other and with young people while increasing the awareness of the barriers and challenges they are experiencing with a focus on continuously improving outcomes through social prescribing lies at the heart of this collaborative.

As a group they share experience, resources and knowledge while also offering peer support to overcome some of the practical issues that are faced by young people living in rural communities.
